Finnish Fashion Designer, Antti Asplund showcased his latest collection, “Heterophobia” at the Charity Water fashion show presented by Style Fashion Week and New York Life benefiting America Heart Association during Mercedes-Benz New York.
Some of models walked down the runway at the Lincoln Center with the full-face covered black and white checkered fabric. The other models strutted down the catwalk in underwear, goggles, a mesh tank top, and a bag full of beautiful flowers.
According to Asplund, “Heterophobia Collection speaks out for the equality of people regardless of attributes, appearances or opinions and takes a stance on supporting equal marriage everywhere. ”
Originally designed as a small collection on a 70 Euro cents budget for Helsinki Pride Week. “Heterophobia” represents equality for all regardless of appearance, sexuality, gender, opinions and etc.
