“I am honored to be opening LA Fashion Week on October 5th, 2015 and am excited to unveil the theme of my up-coming Runway Show: ALCHEMY & MASQUERADE”, – announced internationally recognized celebrity designer Sue Wong on her Facebook page shortly before the official Opening of LA Fashion Week.

It is that time of the year when fashionistas, designers, models and artists are getting ready to celebrate art and fashion, and Art Hearts Fashion is a prefect platform for anyone to show off talent and personality. This season founder of Art Hearts Fashion and Mister Triple X designer Erik Rosete in collaboration with Sarah and Erin Whitaker (PARKERWHITAKER Productions) invited the best artists and designers at the legendary Taglyan Complex.

This time the guests, press and celebrity could enjoy art exhibits presented by talented Eugene Huffman, Molly Gruninger, Lisa Whitmore, Connie Kurtew, Sham Ibrahim, Sequoia Emmanuelle and many others. This season Art Hearts Fashion welcomed iconic designer Sue Wong whose magical, elegant and romantic ALCHEMY & MASQUERADE Spring 2016 Collection opened the LA Fashion Week. With all her creativity, hard work and recognition among celebrities Sue Wong already became the synonym of Hollywood lifestyle and success.

Red carpet attendees included HH. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe and his royal family Prince Waldemar Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess Antonia Schaumburg-Lippe,  actresses Josie Rebecca Davis (Twilight) and Alice Amter (Big Bang Theory), actor John Savage, Princess Leith Eaton De-Grimaldi of Monaco, legendary actor Randal Malone, Award-winning actress Margaret O’Brien, famous musician Chris Pitman (Guns N’ Roses), internationally recognized Japanese-American actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, celebrity DJ and former Scorpions bass player Ralph Rieckermann and his talented sister and professional saxophone player  Katja Rieckermann, model and actress Dustin Quick and Medi Em, actress Vida Ghaffari and many others.

Legendary actor Max Ryan (Sex & The City) and HH. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe opened Sue Wong show later that night. Mario- Max’s stunning dance performance was one of the most spectacular moments of the show. His royal family Prince Waldemar Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess Antonia Schaumburg-Lippe honored Sue Wong with The Princely Awards Schaumburg-Lippe-Nachod Lifetime Achievement Award for her constant contribution to fashion. Also, actor Max Ryan congratulated Sue Wong on her Certificate of Recognition presented by California Legislature Assembly that evening.

The show was all about Masquerade theme. As Sue Wong mentioned that evening, her biggest inspiration for the new collection was “the mask persona”. “Masks free us from self-consciousness, dropping social, psychological personas that express hidden sides of ourselves”, – states the official Sue Wong’s source. Model and actress Blanca Blanco, former international model and actress Eugenia Kuzmina, Katie Cleary (America’s Next Top Model) and Net Chittangkura walked the runway dressed in beautiful beaded gowns. The atmosphere of beauty, magic and transformation was enhanced with live performance of the “Phantom of The Opera” star Michael Peer. The show had several themes: Alchemy, Etherea, Arcana, Chrysalis, Duality, Metamorphosis, Kaleidoscope, Faustus, and Transformation. Stylish and elegant gowns of all colors and shape, decorated with beads, lace and floral ornaments , as well as crowns, masks, amazing head pieces and massive “avant guard” style collars were designed to reveal the alchemy of feminine power and beauty, darkness and light that go hand in hand. It was the true celebration of transformation from an ordinary woman to a powerful goddess. The beautiful headdresses were designed by Sue Wong, What A Betty, Maritza Regaldo/Atzi Designs, Marika Soderlund-Robinson/Kicka Custom Design and Rocky Gathercole.

The magical night continued with LA Fashion Week After party hosted by Sue Wong and the royal family of Prince Mario-Max. The event was marked by incredible performance of the most talented people: opera star Michael Peer, internationally recognized singer Maria Elena Infantino, Medi Em performing Flamenco music, a 12-year-old prodigy singer Angel Ng, the most talented slap bass player Djordje Stijepovic , the brilliant performance of saxophone player  Katja Rieckermann and many others.

The other designers announced that night included Gregorio Sanchez, Tatiana Shabelnik and House of Lijon. More to see during four days that include incredible art installation by Betsey Johnson and fashion shows of designers like Erik Rosete/Mister Triple X, Isabella Couture and Michael Costello.
